Understanding the New International Mobility Program and Other LMIA-Exempt Categories September 17, 2014 Toronto, ON As you know, the Temporary Foreign Worker category has been split into two distinct streams: the Temporary Foreign Worker category which encompasses Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and the International Mobility Program (IMP). Much has been written and debated about the new LMIA, however, you have probably heard very little about the IMP. This program will address the issues surrounding the IMP, including pre-filing, the new specialized knowledge Intra-company Transfer guidelines and immigration auditing & enforcement.
