Toy Search America 2003 open to Canadians

By Michelle Collins |

STAMFORD, CT - Think your invention is destined to become the next Beanie Baby or Tickle Me Elmo? If so, Toy Search America 2003 wants to hear from you.

The competition is being launched by Connecticut-based company the Creative Group Marketing (CGM), and is open to inventors in both the U.S. and Canada. CGM is a licensing and brokerage company that offers assistance in marketing and licensing new products to business and industry, including most major toy manufacturers.

CGM is accepting submissions of toys, games, and baby/children’s products. The winning invention will be showcased at Toy Fair in New York in October 2003. In addition to a place in Toy Fair the usual submission fees charged by toy agents will be waived for the winner. CGM President Gary Ahlert points out that this decision is an added value to the overall prize.

"Inventors need to realize is that no matter how great their idea is, most toy companies will not look at any new products unless they are submitted through a recognized toy agent," says Ahlert.

If you are interested in participating in Toy Search America 2003 you can learn more by calling: 1-800-678-8972. For more information on CGM visit their website at www.creativegroupmarketing.com.
