Alberta Survey Seeks Input into Province's Future

ALBERTA -- Albertans are being asked to help set the province's future policies now that the province is 'debt free'.

In July 2004 the government set aside $3 billion dollars to pay off its debt, freeing up $150 million each year. The It's Your Future survey will be used to determine how Albertans would like to see that money used. It also asks participants to rate their priorities and to provide input into how they would like any additional surpluses to be invested.

The survey will be available until September 24, 2004. It can be found at:
