HALIFAX - Angel investors and entrepreneurs will now be able to connect with one another through a new website, www.angelinvestmentnetwork.ca, launched by the Canadian Angel Investment Network Inc.

Both entrepreneurs and investors can register for free. The catch for business owners is that while they are able to submit investment proposals for free, they will be required to pay a $199 fee when an investor wants to get in touch with them. Investors, on the other hand, can look through the proposals without paying any kind of fee.

Members of the Network specialize in a wide range of areas including business acquisitions, government, and information technology. According to the site Canadian angel investors spend over $3 billion on small business each year.
