Making Connections and Building Links

    The Internet is not a mass medium.

  1. Identify central sites for your industry
  2. Get links to your website from niche directories and sites that have link pages.
    (Two way links are not automatic. It is a common courtesy to offer a link back in return.)
  3. Connect through online communities (Twitter, Facebook, forums, etc.)
  4. Participate in the blog-o-sphere. Make intelligent comments on blog posts, with your link along with your name to build extra back-links.
  5. Be careful: invest your time strategically!
