Does a manager receive vacation pay for a seasonal job?

Expert: Howard Levitt

Del asked:

I do the books for a ski hill in British Columbia which of course is a seasonal job. The manager is on a monthly salary. My question is do we pay vacation pay to him?

Howard Levitt answered:

Yes, you do pay vacation pay. Whether it is monthly or hourly has nothing whatsoever to do with an employee's entitlement to vacation pay.
