Expert: Howard Levitt

M. Hoskin asked:

Can an employer force an employee who calls in sick, find a replacement for their shift?

Howard Levitt answered:

No they cannot. The employers job is to manage, recruit and assign. It can ask for assistance but ultimately it is up to the employer to secure an employee.
