Barefoot in Manitoba

Expert: Constable Russ Heslop

Charlotte asked:

In Manitoba, is it legal or not to drive bare footed?

Constable Russ Heslop answered:

According to Constable Heslop, it is legal to drive in Manitoba in your bare feet.

However, he warned that a barefooted driver may not have the same control over their vehicle as they would wearing shoes. Driving barefoot could, he said, be a factor should an accident occur.
