Linda Plater
New Media Consultant, Linda Plater generates creative content for a digital world and views her work as a series of challenging and technically interesting projects.
Whether it is a news release, interactive web tool, promotional article or research report, Plater pulls together resources to deliver her clients' content on time and on budget. "I know content counts, especially on the web! My goal is to deliver clear, concise communications designed to meet my client's expectations. Finding new ways to tell a client's story is what it's all about. People might forget your company's name but they'll always remember a great story! " says Plater.
Working both independently and in teams, this creative thinker brings her marketing and writing experience to her work in new media. Clients draw from her diverse professional background in both private and public sectors to develop focused communication solutions targeted to their customers.
Plater's background includes: Expo 86, Whistler Resort Association, Berlitz School of Languages and Ontario's Ministry of Citizenship. In 1995 she left the Ontario government to start an entrepreneurial venture called Newsline.
