Ron Walton

Background

Ron is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law and is currently obtaining his Masters of Intellectual Property Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to practising law, Ron founded his own computer company and was also the Canadian general manager of a U.S. multinational computer firm.

He is a member of the Patent and Trade-Mark Institute of Canada, the Information Technology Association of Canada, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the National History Society. Ron sits on the board of directors for several organizations and is a frequent contributor of articles to business publications and a regular speaker to business groups. He was a 1996 nominee for the Premier's Award given by the Premier of the Province of Ontario for social and economic contributions to the Province.
