Mia Wedgbury, co-founder of High Road Communications and general manager of the Toronto office, has over 10 years experience in the high tech communications industry.

Mia's experience includes strategic counsel, management of public and media relations campaigns, direction of national and international product launches, crisis communications, and corporate positioning. She has provided her expertise to a number of leading North American high tech companies including Sierra Wireless, NEC Technologies, Open Text Corporation, Avaya Communications and Synamics.

Mia has developed and executed public relations programs for Microsoft Canada, IBM, Xerox, Stentor, ExpressVu and Nortel Networks. She directed national communications for Microsoft Canada, managed the launch of Windows 95 and handled two media tours for Bill Gates. Prior to establishing High Road Communications, Mia held senior positions within Advanced Technology Practices of two large, international communications firms.

Mia is a current member of the Fleishman Hillard Global Tech Board.
