Wrongful dismissal

Expert: Howard Levitt

Shirley asked:

What are the time limitations on initiating a civil suit for wrongful dismissal and more specifically constructive dismissal in Ontario. Is there any way of extending those time limitations?

Howard Levitt answered:

The time limitation is two years and this can not be extended. However, in any pre-2004 cases the time limitation is six years.
