Are co-op students considered to be seasonal workers?

Expert: Howard Levitt

Kasriel asked:

I was reading your article on vacation pay and in the last section you talk about seasonal workers and part-time workers. I was therefore wondering if this group would also include co-op students, as they work for four months at a time as employees of a company.

Howard Levitt answered:

Yes this would include co-op students because they are considered temporary workers.
