Joseph Eliezer is a Vancouver-based Registered Professional Counsellor (RCP), Master Practitioner of Counselling Psychology (MPCP), clinical supervisor, public speaker & author. He practices Intuition-Enhanced Psychotherapy.
Joseph Eliezer is registered with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (Board of Directors); Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists; Victim Services of BC; Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce.
Joseph has long been interested in the study of human condition and ways to assist people to create the lives they wanted to lead. He started his work in the helping profession as an intuitive counsellor and eventually transitioned to a trained counsellor and psychotherapst practising his own style of psychotherapy Intuition-Enhanced Psychotherapy (IEP).
Joseph's life-long quest for knowledge included formal and informal studies of intuition, theology, spirituality and counselling psychology and psychotherapy. Joseph began his formal studies of counselling psychology with the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. Subsequently, he has taken a number of courses and workshops in various theories and praxis of counselling science. In most recent years, Joseph has concentrated on the study of psychoanalytic theory and practice and has been taking courses with the Western Branch of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society.
Joseph's favourite modes of self-expression are writing and public speaking. Over the years, he has written a number of articles that have been published in on-line and in-print publications and has made a number of TV and radio appearances.
