I have been teaching for 28 years, training students in theory, history, composition, pedagogy and performance (piano, clarinet), and have graduate degrees in both music and education. Whether it’s teaching piano to a six year old or preparing students for art school and university entrance exams, students will benefit from my cheerful, patient, and positive attitude. In addition, I have worked with exceptional learners and can adapt and modify instruction for gifted students and those with special needs. Many of my students perform at local music festivals and auditions, placing in the top three and winning scholarships. Whatever your interest and goals, I know that together, we can create a tailored lesson program that will provide many opportunities for growth and success.
