Text2talk, www.text2talk.ca, is a method of calling long distance from a cellular phone inexpensively. Any registered user can send a text message to the service containing the number they wish to call. The automated service then calls that user and the phone number they sent in the message and connects the two of them. This way it is an incoming call for both parties. Since many cell phone plans provide free or inexpensive text messaging and free incoming calls the only cost to the user is the small fee charged for using the text2talk service.
