Jiggity is an online mall, providing a new way for local businesses in the Cumberland (Nova Scotia) and Westmorland (New Brunswick) counties to sell to customers without requiring in-person interactions. Although Jiggity was thought of a long time ago, COVID-19 activated the process of getting Jiggity up and running. Unlike other online shopping platforms, when people in the Cumberland and Westmorland counties shop on Jiggity.ca they know they are supporting their neighbours.
For the first time local businesses from all over these two counties are coming together, allowing individuals to support local while still providing the convenience and safety of shopping from home. Customers can now shop at their favourite local store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without needing to worry about if they remembered to bring their mask.
