Ksenija Lebec and John Lebec started Door Maker in 1999, armed with a Fritz Press and Shoda CNC; over the next year, Ivan Lebec joined the team selling his wood door company to handle deliveries for Door Maker. Thanks to Ksenija Lebec's direction, Door Maker grew from a startup to a medium player within the thermofoil business. John Lebec provided the operational direction for the company, including making the decision to change and upgrade equipment, which now includes two Heian CNCs and the first Wemhoner Pin Press in Ontario, to keep pace within the industry. TDM (The Door Maker) is the new incarnation of this business, offering more colours, more designs, and more options. TDM is the next evolution of wood, thanks, in part, to the newest Wemhoner Vario Pin Press in Ontario (manufactured in 2016) and a 2016 Heian CNC; TDM has the latest technology in the industry.
