York West Active Living Centre is a community based resource centre for persons 55 years and older. YWALC's mission is to promote, encourage and support healthy, independent living through a range of health and wellness programs, educational workshops and multicultural activities.

YWALC a registered, non-profit charity dedicated to providing a wide range of health and wellness programs, educational programs workshops, social programs, intergenerational and multicultural activities. The services we provide improve the overall health and well-being of older adults, promote physical activity, reduce social isolation, the incidence of elder abuse and victimization, and enable older adults to be comfortable, live independent and with dignity in their own home.
