The York Region Economic Strategy Branch operates the York Small Business Enterprise Centre serves small businesses in the Northern six York Region municipalities: Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, King, Newmarket and Whitchurch-Stouffville.

The Centre provides information, resources and free consultations on all aspects of your business needs if you are starting a new business, or have been in business for less than five years with less than ten employees.

We offer:
N6BizSeries : A series of six conferences held over two years focused on the theme of Business Innovation in Changing Times.
Youth Programs: We help the Province of Ontario deliver the Summer Company program in our community.
Advisory Groups: Our Centre is supported by an active advisory group of York Region businesses, municipal Economic Development Offices and Chambers of Commerce.

The Centre has dedicated staff that provides advice and counsel to entrepreneurs on a variety of levels. As well, the Centre provides links to other business organizations, seminars and entrepreneurial events, online training and many other tools and resources to assist the budding entrepreneur.
