The Business Development Bank of Canada is once again hosting its Young Entrepreneur Award.

Offering a $100,000 grand prize and a second place prize of $25,000 worth of consulting services, the BDC 2014 Young Entrepreneur Award is not an opportunity to miss. Competition finalists also benefit from exposure on both local and national levels.

Created by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) in 1988, the BDC Young Entrepreneur Award contest pays tribute to remarkable young Canadian entrepreneurs. Over the years, the contest has recognized the success of more than 300 young business owners.

The contest is aimed at Canadian entrepreneurs under the age of 35, who have a plan to take their business to the next level of growth and success.  The Business Development Bank of Canada asks for a short video submission about the businesses, the project which will take the business to the next level and how $100,000 will make that happen.

The contest deadline is April 3, 2014, with full details available at www.bdc.ca/yea.
